  1. To design an environment that supports the welfare of a college community through restoring the mental tranquility of each participant dealing with the stress of everyday college life
  2. The Site design leverages the advantages of the extensive views and unique property location to achieve the owner's goal of supporting community needs
  3. The Center's design accommodates the public safety needs of a diverse and constantly changing community of up to 60 individuals including their food and lodging needs
  4. The Center's design addressed the environmental challenges of a very exposed building site
  5. The materials and systems that managed the health and comfort of visitors and residents of the facility were chosen
