Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) are increasingly being used in the AEC industry to close communication gaps and enable better collaboration between the owner, design team and construction team. Translating design and construction models into virtual environments provides the entire team with concrete experiences and greater understanding to make better informed decisions. VR gives the end-user the opportunity to experience their future space, layout and finishes, and saves time with the ability to test a number of design factors. Implementing VR & AR on Client projects has proven that you do not have to be an expert in in construction to reap the benefits of VR. Approved for 1.5 AIA HSW Continuing Education credits.
