Integrated design in contemporary architecture is the focus when designer/researcher Kiel Moe Assoc. AIA serves as guest

provocateur in the BSA’s “Conversations on Architecture” series on January 14. In these monthly design explorations hosted by Brian Healy AIA, leading architects, landscape architects, planners, educators and designers gather to discuss the current state of architecture. Moe, the recipient of a 2006 BSA Research Grant in Architecture and a 2008 AIA Upjohn Research Grant, earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Cincinnati and his graduate degrees at University of Virginia and Harvard. He recently taught at Syracuse University and the University of Illinois/Chicago and is now an assistant professor at Northeastern University. Moe has worked for WW, Doug Garofalo, Hargreaves Associates and The Salk Institute. Princeton Architectural Press has just published Moe’s book, Integrated Design in Contemporary Architecture. Reservations are required for this event, which is open to all. The $10 fee ($5 for BSA members and

full-time students) covers the cost of ample food and drink. Space is limited to 35 on a first-come, first-served basis; reserve your seat by January 12 at architects.org/conversations. n ce
