PROGRAM INFORMATION

ELIGIBILITY: 

  1. Any structure or project type (including historic preservation, rehabs, interiors or monuments) located anywhere in the world and designed by an AIA Central Massachusetts architect or architectural firm
  2. Any structure or building project type built in the Central Massachusetts graphic area (see list) by any architect or firm anywhere in the world is eligible.  

Projects must have been completed after January 1, 2007.  Non-licensed professionals may submit awards in a separate category.  Projects that have received AIA CM design awards in the past years and design professionals or their firms serving as jurors for 2015 are not eligible.

CRITERIA

The judging criterion is design excellence over a range of building types, sizes and budgets. The jury will select projects that achieve excellence in the categories of aesthetic, functional, contextual, sustainable,social or other characteristics. The jury may honor projects by type or other categories, or may elect to make no such distinctions.

SCHEDULE

Application Deadline:  July 31, 2015

Project Digital Submissions Deadline: August 21, 2015

Awards Presentation: Dec. 2015
